About Common Frontiers
We are a national working group with over three decades of experience in international solidarity. Composed of faith-based, labour, environmental and social justice organizations focused on the Americas, we are uniquely positioned in Canada to provide important analysis, and solidarity, inside and outside the country.
We do this through a combination of research, analysis, and action, in cooperation with labour, human rights, environmental, church, development, and economic and social justice organizations.
We amplify the struggles of organizations and communities with which our members hold long-term relationships throughout the region, and who work to defend democracy, human rights, labour rights, strong public services and the environment
Common Frontiers grew out of the experience gained by Canadian organizations confronting the Free Trade agenda and the recognition that cooperation must extend across sectors nationally and also across borders.
