Another world is possible—if we act!

Common Frontiers is delighted to help roll out the The London Regional Social Forum.

The London Regional Social Forum seeks to connect activists in and around London, Ontario, to build more intersectional alliances and relationships of mutual responsibility among progressive movements, and to better learn and promote the undertaking of resistance actions.

Join us on the second weekend of September for our activist community-building virtual event. Our many experienced speakers will guide us through informative lectures and practical workshops, on topics ranging from effective struggle against privatization and austerity politics to mental health activism and Indigenous communities’ defense of biodiversity. RSVP at https://londonregionsocialforum.wildapricot.org to receive the information that you will need in order to log into the event on Zoom.

This event is only the first. Our speakers will not only inform us, but also lead us to concrete ideas about how to enhance our momentum as communities aspiring to live more fully in active resistance and responsible solidarity.

You are welcome to attend this virtual event even if you are not based in the London, Ontario area. Much of what we learn here is sure to be relevant for you if you are hoping to pursue goals like these within your own community and region!

You are also invited to a social event at Gibbons Park in London on the Friday evening before the virtual event for an opening ceremony led by Dan and Mary Lou Smoke followed by a concert and a community meal. Masks and social distancing required. Please RSVP separately for this event on the website.
